Millie the Quartersaurus on the Loose!

Millie is the Children’s Museum of Evansville’s dinosaur mascot. In 2011, Millie will be out in force chomping up quarters to help cMoe reach 1.5 million quarters in 2011. You will find Millie at local events, retailers, and in the cMoe lobby.

Be a part of something BIG for children and families. cMoe’s Million FIVE Quarters Campaign is a special 5th birthday fundraising campaign organized to obtain gifts on the basis to support, at least in part, the creation of new exhibits.

cMoe’s Million FIVE Quarters Campaign helps continue the legacy of a fun and educational institution for children and families in the Tri-State. The kick-off for cMoe’s Million FIVE Quarters campaign will be Friday, December 31, 2010 at cMoe’s Happy Noon Year’s Party. A special announcement will be made at 12:01 p.m. regarding Millie’s Fan Club and Millie Money.

The public is invited to celebrate Happy Noon Year’s at cMoe with special activities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. Regular admission rates apply.

cMoe Names New Executive Director

The Koch Family Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe) has appointed Stephanie Terry
as their new Executive Director effective Oct. 18.

An Evansville native, Terry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Kentucky State
University and a Master in Health Service Administration from University of Evansville.

She was previously employed at Carver Community Organization where she served as the
Deputy Executive Director and handled the day-to-day operations of the agency as well as grants management, resource/fund development and marketing.

Terry is involved in many community organizations including YMCA, Visiting Nurse Association
and Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare. She was also recently appointed to the Vanderburgh County Council District 3.

cMoe seeks to provide a safe and educational learning facility for children and families in the
Evansville area. Originally founded as Hands on Discovery Children’s Museum in 1990 by the
Junior League of Evansville, and renamed as the Louis J. Koch Family Children’s Museum of
Evansville downtown Evansville in 2006.
